Leadership Team
As the Founder and CEO of Vaerifi, Alex leads a team that provides CFO-level strategy, advanced financial reporting, and integrated bookkeeping to fast-growing firms. Alex is a key strategic partner, ensuring financial operations run with precision and discipline while helping guide critical business decisions with clarity and insight.
Prior to launching Vaerifi, Alex spent over 15 years in global finance roles at Bank of America, Credit Suisse, and private capital platforms across New York and Singapore. His background includes structuring complex debt solutions and advising management teams at companies ranging from early-stage ventures to publicly traded enterprises.
Alex earned his MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business, holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting, and is a CFA charterholder.
He resides in Dallas, Texas, with his loving wife and beautiful daughter. He enjoys staying active, traveling, and exploring the great outdoors.

Alex Roe, CFA, MBA
As Controller at Vaerifi, Kiran oversees the firm’s accounting quality standards across its full portfolio of clients and leads the firm’s accounting team. She also steps in directly as a fractional controller on engagements that demand deeper accounting complexity, bringing rigorous execution and technical depth to every client relationship.
Prior to Vaerifi, Kiran spent over 15 years leading accounting, financial operations, and strategic project management roles across private equity-backed, SaaS, media, entertainment, and multinational organizations. Her background includes full-cycle accounting, systems implementations, audits, revenue recognition, and compliance under U.S. GAAP and IFRS.
Kiran holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and is both a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Project Management Professional (PMP).
She resides in the suburbs of Chicago with her husband, with whom she shares a love of travel and cruising. She enjoys staying active through yoga, hiking, and spin classes, and is an avid reader.
